I hope that my posts on my blog are helpful. That's why I answer as many emails and questions on instagram, facebook, twitter... pinterest (all me) and one question I get is how black are your custom rash guards. It's an important question and not just to me but to other designers. It means the difference between a design being the next big design or your almost super star design just missing the bar.
For a custom rash guard to get made, a design is created, sent to the factory and a long roll of white material is feeding via industrial rollers to be printed. Sublimation is a printing process that requires the material to be white from the beginning. I'm using thick sport specific polyester for grappling because i'm a trained sport scientist who rolls in his own gear.
If you really want to know what sublimation is well..
'' Sublimation is a type of phase transition, or a change in a state of matter, just like melting, freezing, and evaporation. Through sublimation, a substance changes from a solid to a gas without ever passing through a liquid phase. Dry ice, solid CO2, provides a common example of sublimation ''
I love making designs for custom spats or custom rash guards and i'm here if you have an idea just drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
